hello! i'm christi :) you seem really nice! and i just wanted to say that i made a cosplay for like 30 dollars once (pretty inexpensive for cosplay)... so don't get discouraged! you should try it!! and since you live in stl, you should wear it to astl in april!! >.< (if you like Death Note... L is very cheap to make. just a suggestion ^.^;;;)
