I neglected to mention this earlier (and mentioned this already on my artwork forum), but a few people I chatted with and all asked me if I took commissions. It is not a bad idea and I am planning on opening commissions up as soon as I figure out a price point and samples of work. :D

Bads news is that it turns out the person I interviewed was trying to scam me. The good news is that I didn't give the scammer my bank account info or SSN. The silver lining is that I learned what to watch out for in my emails and the real employees of the company the person was pretending to be are working to catch the person with indeed. So my warning to anyone using indeed/glassdoor/creative circle, etc. to find jobs: Watch out for emails that claim that they received your info from Indeed offering full time employment, it is a scam. Indeed does not give out info to random employers.
