Small town girl Nana Komatsu has had her share of bad luck in love, so what better way to start fresh than to move to the big city, Tokyo? On the train, she meets a hip rocker chick also named Nana, and through a series of conicidences, the mismatched pair of single gals become roommates.

Komatsu Nana moves to Tokyo, following after her boyfriend Shouji to gain a life she has always dreamed of. The anime is about two girls named Nana, who are very different.
