Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, commonly referred to as FMAB is the second adaptation of the hit manga series Fullmetal Alchemist by Hiromu Arakawa. In 2003, shortly after the manga began its run, the first adaptation titled Fullmetal Alchemist was made.

Tohno Takaki and Shinohara Akari are two classmates in an elementary school. During their time together they have become close friends.

After being stood up during a date on Christmas Eve, Junichi’s confidence took a critical nosedive. Two years later, he’s now a second year high school student and ready to give love another chance.

Yukiteru Amano (or Yuki) is a loner who never really interact with people and prefers writing a diary on his cell phone with his only companion being an imaginary friend named Deus Ex Machina, the God of Time and Space. However, Yuki soon learns that Deus is not a figment of his imagination but real when Deus makes him a participant in a battle royale with eleven others.

The story follows Kaizaki Arata, a 27-year-old jobless man, who fails at every job interview he had after quitting his last company. His life changes after he met Yoake Ryou of the ReLife Research Institute, who offered him a drug that can change his appearance to 17-years-old and to become a subject in an experiment for one year.

The story focuses on the world of illegal Japanese street racing, where all the action is concentrated in the mountain passes and rarely in cities nor urban areas, and the drift racing style is emphasized in particular. Keiichi Tsuchiya helps with editorial supervision.
