3D animation is more in my little sister's range of expertise... I want to do 2D animation. Everything is in 3D now. *sigh* Well good for you. :)

That sounds awesome. I've taken a couple 3D animation classes back when I was in high school. I am currently getting my associates in Network Administration. Love computers, and assembling them. What kind if animation do you want to do?
