Yes. Exactly like that. Just slightly less cliche than bumping into one another and collecting the other person's pages to return to them. But not original enough for it not to be a bit embarrassing. Still, there's no harm in daydreaming. It sounds like you like a lot of fantasy series. I'm interested in lots of different genres. It's hard to get translated books in print. Do you prefer reading on a tablet/smartphone or in print? I kind of flit. Sometimes I read horror or fantasy or try the classics. I read a lot of historical fiction set in china and Japan. It's always lots of fun. I got into Japanese writing more recently. If you like magic realism Banana Yoshimoto is worth reading. Her short stories are very atmospheric. Or anything by Carlos Ruis Zafron. I might download the app and give some of your recommendations a try. Having a reading buddy sounds like fun to me. Let me know what book you think we should try reading and talking about. Maybe something short to start? Who knows :)

Yay ( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ a fellow book lover. And you sound like you like to travel judging by your profile. We'll get along just fine. Yes I love talking about books. I could spend hours wandering about second hand book stores and I think my romantic fantasy is stumbling across the perfect someone in a library xD (I guess my imagination isn't as strong as my love for reading. I have been meaning to check out Xuanhuan. I tend to read more manhua than read the novels but there's always room for change there. And the fantasy stuff is so fun :) Any you recommend? Do you like reading that sort of thing?
