In a world where being born with superpowers called a “Quirk” is the norm, a quirkless regular middle schooler Izuku Midoriya dreams to join the band of heroes that he grew to admire and love, and save the world. Despite being constantly bullied by his schoolmates for having no quirks, he does not give up on his dream and turns his attention into meticulous data gathering about the heroes instead.

The Neighbor's Club—a club founded for the purpose of making friends, where misfortunate boys and girls with few friends live out their regrettable lives. Although Yozora Mikazuki faced a certain incident at the end of summer, the daily life of the Neighbor's Club goes on as usual.

The series was directed by Kyoda Tomoki and is produced by Studio Bones, known for the production of many hits such as Wolf’s Rain, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Mob Psycho 100, and Boku no Hero Academia. In Japan, it is known as Psalms of the Planet: Eureka Seven, and is stylized simply as Eureka Seven internationally.

The story centers around four teens — the good-looking twins Yuuta and Yuuki Asaba, the effeminate and girlish Shun Matsuoka, and the class head Kaname Tsukahara — who have known each other since early childhood. While they are not necessarily good or bad friends, they continue to hang out well into high school.

The "Seven Deadly Sins," a group of evil knights who conspired to overthrow the kingdom of Britannia, were said to have been eradicated by the Holy Knights, although some claim that they still live. Ten years later, the Holy Knights have staged a Coup d'état and assassinated the king, becoming the new, tyrannical rulers of the kingdom.

Third-year high school student Koyomi Araragi barely survives a vampire attack, thanks to the help of Meme Oshino, a strange man who lives in an abandoned building. Despite being able to save his humanity, several powers from vampirism remained in his body as side effects.

Rei Kiriyama is a 17-year-old boy who recently started living alone, financed by his salary as a professional Shogi player. Despite his independence, however, he's yet to mature emotionally, and his problems continue to haunt him in his daily life.
