It's alright not be able to list the names. I also like theme songs from anime.
Some of my favorite themes are from Inuyasha, Gundam Seed, Bleach, and .hack Sign. I also love songs from Joe Hisashi who composed songs for popular Ghibli movies (Spirited Away, Princess Monoke, Howl's Moving Castle, ...).
Currently, I am listening to Bleach Ending Theme #1 (by Rie Fu).

I like Hei too, but my favorite character is Yin. I'm a sucker for emotionless characters. Battle Angel Alita sounds familiar, but I've never read it. Seeing your positive review, I may give it a try when time permits.
