I'll try to get some of my costumes out and take pictures... I'm not a pro by any means but I've taken some sewing classes and I have basic knowledge about fabric and what to use for a costume.
I remember that the first costume I made was so heavy I had to sit and rest every five minutes lol. I really try to pay attention to small details and I'm not afraid to go a bit over my budget to get a legitimate look :)

Yes! I make my own costumes because they usually look more like the characters than the ones online :)
