Ah yes, I've heard of those cons, but alas I've never attended them. Truth be told that there's a number of newer conventions on the rise, but sadly some of them don't always make it in the long run. It's the same down here in Florida. Nevertheless, they're always fun to attend and make a new friend or two. Alas, I've been contemplating about doing more furry conventions as they're very laid back and anime friendly too. Growing up, I was more about playing card and video games. Did you happen to have an Atari 2800?

I'm not 100% certain of the cons in Ohio, but I would certainly imagine there would be a comic con of sorts, yes? The closest con I've been to Ohio is Anthrocon. Truth be told comics are indeed different from anime and have been streamlining a bit more ever since Marvel dominated the box office. As it stands, I'm more sided into the anime scene only because I grew up with it. Outlaw Star, DBZ, YuGiOh fan perhaps?
