I actually recomended it to you if you recall. And in terms of blood its not as bad as some -Blood-C for example. But Beyond the Boundary was one of the series that proved to me a good story could be told in 12 or 13 episodes

I didnt much like Asura Cryin either tbh. I tend to pick shows from one particular company with out realizing its from them b4 I watch it. I more often than not end up liking it o-o

Interesting. Let's talk about the drawing first and get that outta the way. Honestly. It's actually pretty good. I like the chains, I like the way she's sitting in the seat and how it sinks in below her. I like how calm and presentable her pose is. It's not bad at all. Her tail does kind of seem a bit too high but there is room for stylistic choice depending on how you want it to look. Some people just kinda have tails stick out like BAM, but realistically the tail should be around where the tail bone is on humans and should be much lower. I've seen both on professional art so it's up to you really. The tail itself looks a bit stiff either way. My main concern with it is the head, and I'm sure you as the artist knows this well. It looks like an acorn, the perspective is kinda off like how her right eye should be angled differently (sort of smaller and not facing directly the same direction. It's minor.), but the biggest problem is that her neck is either too far back or her head is too far forward. You could have done either one but you have this awkward ambiguity that causes it too look like her head is jetting forward... somehow. Almost like it's floating... It's also a little large for her body, but... I mean... I've seen bigger. Getting more nitpicky, the chain behind her is not quite angled right to match the chair she's sitting on and her thumb looks too much like a finger. Sometimes it's actually better to not show it or have it bend below the palm. Her body is great with nice curves and the leaves are enjoyable to look at. The bust is nice and relaxed and the obi sash has a nice firm look to it. The arms and shoulders look very natural in her kimono as well. I'm actually pretty impressed in this regard. Only her right arm is angled awkwardly. Not "wrong" per se. But it looks uncomfortable. It'd probably be better if it hanged by her side more easily. OKAY. Now onto the character herself. Honestly it's hard to really give too much feedback here in this case. She looks like a pretty standard fox-girl. Curled lips and a mole. If you made her eyes slits then you'd have a pretty generic image. I wish I could say a lot more but when it comes down to it, creatively I think you could bring more to her to make her unique. Her kimono design is nice but that alone doesn't say too much about her as a character. Take it away from her and she doesn't have much that stands out aside from the fox features. It's not that it's "bad" in any way, I want you to understand this. But unique features define unique characters. Maybe it's a specific curl in her hair, or a pendant, or a clip, or a necklace, or freakishly long nails, or an eyepatch, or a hat or piercings or tattoos.... stuff that makes them who they are. These kinds of details are important to consider in character design. Hair and eye styles too. Unless you're watching Attack on Titan you'll find most anime characters have very distinct and purposeful designs to things like even their eyelashes. Yes, it will take time and yes, this is definitely a solid attempt, but I'd like to push you to be a bit more daring and to try new things. Make the character in "your" design. Overall, it's nice. Simple and kind of plain. But nice. Solid effort.
