I started reading the manga but then I started watching the anime, which was free whereas the manga was not. Then the anime started getting extremely far-fetched toward the end and I stopped following it altogether, although I do have friends who update me now and again on how the story's moving along. I prefer to watch live action films and read books instead of manga/anime these days... The "Kaiji" movies were awesome and so was "K-20: Legend of the Mask". They had perfect protagonists, IMO; one was an ordinary loser who accidentally bet his life and learned courage and responsibility through each challenge, and the other was a circus acrobat who lost everything thanks to the upper class and was framed to be the antagonist, K-20.

That's okay. ^^" I don't usually like to rant, but thanks. Gary Joe = Mary Sue. There are other words for it, but, well... Last I checked, the dude was a Shinigami/Human/Hollow hybrid, and now he's part Quincy too, according to the manga? That's a little bit too much "special" in my opinion, haha. And he's never killed, he just get stronger even when he's defeated/clinically dead... Yes, there's a good moral in there about never giving up, but it's muddled by the fact that he's so freaking powerful.

LOL! XD That is funny! Although I am of the opinion that Ichigo was an absolute Gary Joe, I don't think I'd go so far as to throw a book at him, unless it was something with the power of awesome like Battle Royale or Musashi. I haven't gotten anything thrown at me in particular, but my family did wake up one morning to find a bunch of those small angel statues smashed in our yard, and my little brothers got beat up on the playground once by a bunch of Catholic kids... There's other stuff that's happened, it's just pointless to list them all, haha.

An omen? LOL There's a lot of Catholics and Christians in my neighborhood, so I hear you about the proselytism. Can't tell you how many times I and my family have been condemned to "Hell" for believing what we do. It just gets vaguely amusing after a while, though.

Groovy! So basically the hand was worth it? LOL I was raised into Judaism, so it's cultural heritage as well as a belief system.

OW. That's why you never put your hands underneath a sofa... It's better to hurt your feet than your hands. Yes, I am religious to a certain extent. I'm a Conservative Jew... It's complicated, haha. Simply put, I observe the basic guidelines while having the freedom to follow a similar philosophy, like Jediism, at the same time.

It's a 24-hour period every week, from sundown Friday to sunset Saturday. How did you hurt your hand?
notexactlyright
Relatively well. It's the Sabbath for me, so not much actually happened. And yours?
notexactlyright
Fairly decent. How are you?
