Yeah I agree. Its nice to be around like-minded people. I can make obscure anime references and strike up conversations much easier at cons.

I switched because I didn't like the main instructor for the IT classes, he really got on my nerves. In the end, I wish I hadn't switched, but what's done is done, my degree is in machining... That doesn't stop me from wishing I could start a computer and electronics repair business, though...

Yeah same with me. I give any anime a chance usually and end up liking most. Recently I attended Katsucon which was a lot of fun. I always like the atmosphere at cons.

Interesting! I started with a major in Information Systems (computers), but switched to Precision Machining before graduating, though I regret doing so...
