Hahaha Blast and dammit, your state can keep its cold weather! LOL I am going to a number of cons, Twisted Gears in March and San Japan in August. I may possibly make it to Anime Matsuri as well, which is also in March, but I'll have to see. I'm getting paid to go to San Japan, so yippee! I do cosplay, but I usually don't do very memorable characters. The most recognized character I ever cosplayed was Hiei from "Yu Yu Hakusho". I once also cosplayed as Rukia from "Bleach", but she's become such a popular cosplay that the only one less noticeable than her at an event is L from "Deathnote". *sigh* Otherwise, I've done live action cosplays (IE Dr. Umeda from "Hana Kimi") and steampunk LARPing. In fact, I'll be working as a steampunk booth babe at San Japan, if all goes well. I also design and put together costumes, such as a friend's Mokona costume from "XXXHolic" and my little sister's live action cosplays, Sadako from "Ring" and Gumiho from "My Girlfriend Is A Nine-Tailed Fox". I did a lot of costume work for a steampunk mini-play in college, too. The pictures of the crowning glory from that(a cyborg shoulder/chest piece) should be in my gallery... I think... And what about you? Do you cosplay? ^^

Yes! Ah, I'm so glad you know her! The last season was great, I hope you're able to finish it soon. I always wanted to play the visual novel but haven't found much time to do so. Aww, how nice of you. I hope it comes out nicely. QuQ;; I hope I see more Key cosplayers at AZ this year.

Oh no! I can totally sympathize with the whole financial aid thing; I sold my soul to FAFSA a couple years ago and I'm now on the dog list because I miscounted my credit hours for this semester. Hopefully everything goes according to plan for you! Don't worry about the whole apologizing thing - I rarely get mad or insulted over the little things - but if you ever feel the need, then go ahead anyway. A close friend of mine has the same habit, so I can understand. 10*F!? Yeesh. o.o Down here we call that an ice age.

Ahh, you're making me miss cosplaying Vocaloid so much. ): I gotta get back into it. I was like the only Rolling Girl cosplayer at AZ for a few years. I was always so bummed. Awesome! I'm sure your Shu will look great! I totally agree, though. I'm trying to decide what to add to my line up at this point. Since I know my Shingeki cosplay is going to be the most expensive. I might do Kud from Little Busters! if you're familiar with that series? My friend was also wanting to coordinate something from Sailor Moon, but not too sure on that one yet.

Don't apologize! It's fine! Haha Let's see... Are you in college? If so, what's your major and why? If not, then do you work? If so or both, what do you do? I'm majoring in Psychology, but I'm going to transfer to IPFW sometime after the spring semester to get a TESL license. How is it in Minnesota? Today was super cold for Texas... o.o There were even icicles. When does that happen!? What is this madness!? DX

Yeah, I did. I'm just always responding late, haha. It was difficult and I almost gave up, but I'm glad I didn't. Oh! I'd actually like to see that! I don't think I've ever seen him cosplayed before. ): ooooh, what's the secret one? :3

Hmmm... I personally enjoy live action (not only stuff based off of anime/manga), but then again, I have an addiction to foreign films in general. If the stuff is drawn right, 2D can be just as interesting as 3D, though, and both art forms have their own merits. It all depends, I suppose, on how much the production team in a live action film is willing to spend on SFX and story-telling, as opposed to how much an animation team is willing to spend on decent, fast-paced, well-designed episodes. I have yet to watch Attack on Titan! Then again, I'm a bit of a hipster when it comes to entertainment. When everybody says, "Watch it," I lose interest until everybody's calmed down about it. Then I'll be willing to watch whatever show happens to be the latest fad. I guess it's so I don't feel entirely influenced by other people's opinions.

Clannad... I've heard of that one! Sakura Cardcaptor was my first manga as well, so it's also nostalgic for me, haha. I got referred to GOSICK by a Japanese friend of mine who also said it was really good; I'm going to have to resolve to watching at least the first few episodes of it tonight. I enjoy comedy and drama the most, as well as fantasy and some horror anime. I do enjoy the varying art styles, whether old or new. I will admit, though, that the more detailed, creative and proportionate the art is, the better. Caricatures just aren't my thing, haha. Have you watched any live action shows/movies?
