Yukiteru Amano kept a diary he wrote in each day. He was always the bystander.

Yukiteru Amano (or Yuki) is a loner who never really interact with people and prefers writing a diary on his cell phone with his only companion being an imaginary friend named Deus Ex Machina, the God of Time and Space. However, Yuki soon learns that Deus is not a figment of his imagination but real when Deus makes him a participant in a battle royale with eleven others.

Mutated homo sapiens that have a dangerous telekinetic power is being captured and isolated in laboratories by the government. One of the sixth-sense-possessing humanoids escapes loses her memories and winds up living with a boy from her past.

The inhabitants of the continent of Cruzon are born with the ability to freely control quartz. Technology based on this power allows them to perform a great multitude of tasks such as shoot projectiles and pilot mobile suits (called Golems in this society).
