I enjoy the franchise, myself. It's a strategy RPG a la Final Fantasy Tactics if you've tried those out... The characters in most of the games have a very clear anime flavoring to their design style, and most of your characters are susceptible to permadeath in battle. I also personally enjoy it for humorous reasons; the "Support" relationships many of the games allow you to form between your characters are infamous among series fans for being ridiculously easy ammunition for anyone who wants to ship almost any two characters that can connect in this manner XD
And I have not played that one... What genre is it? I have relatively little exposure to games outside of a few genres (fantasy/sci-fi RPG/adventure games, mostly), so maybe it's from a genre I don't play much? Or I could just be an oblivious moron, again; that's actually quite likely XD
