Hellsing, a secret organization within the British government, has long been battling supernatural threats to keep people safe from creatures of the night. They have a secret weapon in the form of an incredibly powerful vampire Alucard.

Alucard is not just any immortal, but probably one of the oldest and strongest beings known to exist. This vampire, however, is duty bound to the Hellsing family, who acts as the dogs of England's queen, protecting the country from the most dangerous parts of the underground, namely other vampires.

The story is set in Heavenly Host Elementary School, an elementary school that was torn down following the murders and disappearances of several of its staff and students. By the start of the story, another school called Kisaragi Academy has been built over the elementary school site.

Corpse Party: Musume is an alternative story which follows the plot of the PC-98 version of Corpse Party. Apart from Naho Saenoki, characters introduced in Blood Covered, like Seiko, Mayu, Morishige, Shishido and three main ghosts, do not make an appearance.
