I very much agree with that statement; that's why I don't really connect with Bleach and Naruto as much as I did with Fairy Tail and anime like Soul Eater. It's really easy to tell the creator's views when you watch their work unfold like that.

Heh, yeah; I am pleased to say that all the females of FT are able to hold their own in a fight. Sometimes with shounen anime they make the females weak and whiney. But nope, even Levy and Lucy can kick ass :3
