I have aspirations of opening an anime/props/cosplay shop and hopefully putting my good written works to use :) but I do always keep an open mind.

Thanks :) I suppose that is very true. I lost my strength a while back to believe that some dreams really can be certain. But since I am out of the situation that was forcing that thought on me, I've started to get better and have dreams again.

So, I went to check to make sure that no one had the same titled book as me... it appears there is a book that was published aug 7 2012 called Glitch that has a very similar story to it. I wanted to name mine "The Glitch". http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/10535458-glitch that is the link to this book. I'm trying not to be discouraged.

Thats what I like about it because I don't feel like its pressured, but at the same time it is hard to write a book based on what modern society is intrigued with without copying or overdoing the idea from a book based on the same concept or idea that is already popular.

thank you :) I don't know how I came up with it, it just sort of hit me. All I saw at first was the beginning, but then, I was wondering how I could incorporate that into the beginning of a novel without making it the obvious ending or whatever. then everything started coming together after that. it certainly has that utopia/dystopia feel though, doesn't it?

Sounds great :) so, I have started on a new novel. Should be excellent as I have the perfect opportunity to go full-out with my imagination on death scenes. basically, it starts off with a beautifully crafted romantic death explained through the one that is dying, a female. then once she dies, she wakes up, and explains that is was just a premonition of death, because in her world, everyone has premonitions of their own death, and everyone has "died" thousands of times. so everyone can see when they will die, and has the ability to do an action to stop that premonition from happening, so their life gets extended by doing a good deed. this is all controlled by a higher power but the main character, Selty, she has a "glitched premonition", where she can not only see the death of herself, but she can see the death of others, as well as the future in general. the higher power knows of people like this but is unable to find them. if they do, they are executed. so the book is about Selty joining a revolution to bring down the higher power.
