Ah, that's too bad holmes. Does that mean you don't a lot of time to see chicks on the beach? That's pretty horrible, maybe you need to move to LA where everyday you can see bombastic ladies and men walking around in their smashing swimwear lol. Oh, what countries do you think are better than the UK? Surprisingly I think there's a league in Europe that includes Turkey, which seem to have quite a competitive group of players. I remember watching some of the old olympic videos where they played much better than the USA and the USA was kind of bitter about it and even slandered or injured their players, all due to their arrogance and pride o.o. Nowadays, I think it's much better though. I'm looking forward to the next Olympics next year in JAPAN!!!!! lol.
I don't really keep track of European football, so you would have to clue me in a bit. I've heard of some famous teams like Manchester United F.C. and FC Barcelona, but I don't know too much else. One of my ex's was really into European football and I think her favorite team was maybe Milan and the German national team.
Sounds legit, at least you weren't bumming up at your parents like I did for a while. Sometimes I regret that the states isn't so concerned about football as much as the rest of the world. Then again we apparently kind of suck at the game, although a few years back the women's team at least brought us some glory lol. I myself don't follow american football as much, but I do cheer for my local team, the Packers and The Vikings. The superbowl wasn't too long ago and it was the Patriots vs the Rams. I think the more popular teams are the Patriots, 49ers, Cowboys, Packers, Steelers, Ravens, Broncos and some more, but those are the only ones I can name off the top of my head. I guess each country likes to take pride in the sports they are good at. I mean the USA is always flaunting how they have the best basketball and baseball teams, but we can kind of suck when it comes to things like Tennis and idk even know if we have professional Cricket and rugby teams o.O. Lol, but yea overall I don't really like how ppl like to shit talk about those kinds of things and bring in their patriotism.
I'm actually from Wisconsin, going to school in Milwaukee. It's about 3-4 hours away from Chicago. I like it b/c we at least get the 4 seasons, unlike down south where it seems to always be summer lol.
Ah, I guess it's true what they say then. Practice and more practice makes perfect. Dude I remember when I used to draw muscles as a kid as just circles on a person's arm lol. I've come a long way. But like most people, I think I struggle w/ the awkward positions that the human body can get into sometimes along w/ their hands and toes. As for the game, I think it was pretty short and you could probably finish it in a few days if you played. I think the lore behind the story is kind of interesting as well. There have been a few myths and rumors. But yea, I've always wanted to make a creepy story or webcomic like that. Something w/ a plot twist at the end.
Like in the game, the little girl is always being helped out by these little Gnomes, until one time she eats one of them even though they have been helping her all along. It's like a huge shocker/spoiler in the game.
Anyhow, what have you been up to bro? Also, when you say football, you mean the European version right, that we Americans call soccer? lol.
I think it'd be interesting if one day they could do a pokemon movie more focused on horror than on just the pokemon franchise. I mean they explore some of the pokemon urban myths, perhaps about what do you actually see in the hole of shedninja's back or some other thing. Plus, it'd have to actually be a horror movie and not just for fun. Man I'd sign up right away to see such a film. On a side note, have you ever drawn your own comic or webtoon before? I recently had to bail my team out of a project b/c we were suppose to make a comic for class but no one did anything and I ended up just copying a bunch of character sheets and backgrounds online to make a very very poor comic. I'd draw it myself, but I'm only mediocre and didn't have the time. I had wanted to make a creepy story like hmm... oh yea, little nightmares, I'll link you to a minute long trailer below
Even then, I bet there might be some crazy people who definitely will try to eat pokemon. It might be some kind of delicacy and poachers would start targeting them instead of tigers and the like. Only issue is that pokemon are much more powerful and can potentially kill such poachers. Hmm, pokemon and mortal kombat, do seem like an interesting mix. I'm not sure how they would incorporate the plots and mythos of the two worlds though. I mean, to start off, there are already pokemon gods and there are also gods in mortal kombat lol.
Hmm.. personally thinking about it, I think I'd like to have pokemon combine w/ something dark. I think that'd be an interesting combo. I mean mortal kombat is already dark, but I'd want something a bit more sinister. Maybe if they jsut made pokemon more sinister, like those many monsters in Japanese folklore. There are already enough creepy pokemon that could make this work, like mimikyu. So yea, I'd combine it w/ something like Nurariyhon no Mago and Pokemon.
Dude I didn't even think of that. That'd be kind of weird and interesting. That means that the age of exploration would still be alive and people could keep exploring new lands. That or we would automatically know how many regions there were in the world and be a bit more disappointed lol. I can totally see that kind of stuff happening w/ PETA and other organizations too. I guess if we think about it, we'd have to consider how much of the pokemon world we want to have and how much of our world we want to have. For starters, you could just start thinking about the food, where does the meat come from? Then you'd start thinking of some weird stuff lol xD.
(lol no worries m8, I tend to not reply that much or as fast either, or maybe I used to. I don't know, I was on hiatus through much of Dec. and might kind of be iffy from here on out.)
I've actually wanted to play ocarina on the 3ds, but never got the chance to. Nowadays I mainly just play games on my laptop through emulators. I guess the developers "would" have to put that feature to make people actually attempt the temples and the like. I get the freedom and all, but if you just skip everything to fight the boss only, that'd kind of make the game like a cheat and not so much fun to play. I appreciate the thought holmes, but who knows lol, I honestly don't think I'll play it in the future unless they come out w/ an emulator for the switch first xD.
I think they do actually have emulators for the 3ds, but it takes up a lot of ram, so I've never played pokemon x or y or the generations around that time before. I'm just glad that the pokemon and people aren't only in 2d anymore and have limited actions. I'm pretty sure all of us have wondered or thought about, "what if the pokemon world was real", but what were your thoughts on such an idea? In that type of world, I guess crime would be slim and mainly only concentrate around stealing pokemon and the like. Plus we'd have to change the physics of the world, b/c some pokemon would kill us just by existing, like slugma and magcargo. Plus some freaky scary stuff would be about too ,like the legends of the ghosts pokemon stuff, like spiritomb and Mimikyu. Buut, I think kids would probably hopefully mature faster lol, since they can leave home at the age of 10 xD.
The game definitely seems intriguing, but I don't think I"ll be able to play it any time soon. Too much school work and the like. That's kind of interesting who you can fight the boss without going into the temples. Doesn't that kind of throw the whole plot out of whack? The voice acting is kind of an interesting aspect. I never thought they would add that. I hope they don't actually add a voice for Link or Zelda. That would be slightly odd ~_~. With all the new additions they made to the game, I hope it doesn't make the game too tedious and cause the game to not be as fun. I kind of wonder if they have any cool special events or the like. I remember in Ocarina of Time, to get the fire arrows, you had to wait until sunrise at Lake Hylia and shoot an arrow into the sunrise to get the fire arrows. Things like that would be pretty sweet, or other types of secrets would be nice too, like perhaps if there was a crater somewhere and if you were able to trigger a special event, you'd get like some unique skill or item, like a gravity slash (where the enemies are pulled towards you for 2-3 secs).
I think that's a pretty sweet gig. I think you'd have to become comfortable with those drawing tablets and what not as well. I have seen some concept arts before and seems like they usually also like having images in different angles and the like or what not. I think you could probably sell your art to board games or card games as well. I think I'd prefer to be a photographer or sculptor than an artist if I had to work in the "art" field. Cuz then I could travel as a photographer and get my pictures from around the world. And as a sculptor, I get more of a hands on approach when making my sculptors.
I have never actually played Breath of the Wild before. The world seems so vast in it though. I don't know how people get around. I assume there's fast travel of some type. What do you like about it, what's it like?
That reminds me of the wall masters in Ocarina of Time. I was always afraid of them b/c all you'd see is a shadow getting bigger and bigger on top of you and you'd have to keep moving or dodge to escape them. Then there were the little wall masters that could choke you to death instantly unless you stun them lol. Man I hated those temples >.>. Ocarina was actually my 3rd Zelda game to play. Man it was waaay to scary for me back then lol. I'm just glad we have cheats nowadays and the net xD.
That's pretty cool man. Do you know what field you want to go into? I have never really found anything that I'm quite passionate about. I kind of just hope that I can help humanity or the earth with my job. That and make lots of money. My parents put a large emphasis on that, probably b/c they grew up poor as refugees. Currently I'm finishing up my final year in Uni, majoring in Software Engineering and Actuarial Science.
