Who's so serious? =P I believe death is nothing to fear. I think of it like this. The universe is one huge consciousness we are all made of, and when you die your consciousness returns to the universe to become a part of it and you will eventually return when the universe decides where to send it.

I used to get those thoughts; but since then I've always thought of death as this... Death isn't the end of the story; it's only the title of the next chapter. =] I hope that helps.
