Disgaea is a turn-based strategy roleplaying game. As you go through each chapter(Contains a cutscene, voice acting and scenario), you gain a map where you can replay that map endlessly to grind for exp, mana and items. Disgaea series has a large number of characters and classes you can make besides a unique story character game provides you. Exp is only bound to usually one character and character can level up to level 9999. You can reincarnate to level 1 to get a bonus stats based on what level your character level up from. There is also an item world which you can level up any item to increase their power, stats or chance to get a higher rank item when faced with item god at item level 100(depends on which series your playing on). Usually, Disgaea really starts after you finish all of the storylines and unlocking endgame content(Land of Carnage). You will go through so many hours obtaining a better ranking item, levelling up, reincarnate until you get a very top! Of course, you can just stop after you finish your storyline too~ I like the game since I like the character design, flashy moves and humorous scenarios.
