Humidity does make any heat wave a lot worse. Thankfully there isn't a lot of humidity here. The ocean here is cold so it takes longer for water vapor to form and blow inland.

You're from Kansas, right. I guess it is really hot there. It's starting to warm up here too but the nights are still damn cold.

Yeah, that would suck. The cooler weather would be better when recovering from work. I hope some of the cool weather blows over to your side of the planet.

I would trade temperatures with you too because the heat doesn't bother me. I'm quite used to it :) Unfortunately we have to deal with what nature dishes out.
