I was having the best dream when she woke me up.

“Takashi-san, you’ll be late for school.”

When I woke up, Miwa whom I am yearning for, was smiling at me. However, Miwa is the wife of my brother, Tomoshi. That is to say, she is my sister-in-law.
My name is Kagura Takashi. After my parents died, my brother got onto the fast track at a big trading company and he’s been taking care of me since then. Thanks to him, I can go to school like any other student.

However, I am more envious than grateful to him. In all aspects he is superior to me, from academics to sports. The most painful thing is his wife, Miwa. She lives in another building of the same apartment complex as mine and she greets me with a smile every morning. Although I love Miwa, my brother stands in my way.
