I've been replaying Cook, Serve, Delicious in anticipation of the upcoming sequel. Something about the perfectionist aspect of that game is so entertaining.
It's as awesome as I'd imagine it would be. Sonic 2 is one of my favorite games of all time, and I'm glad that we finally got a good game. 3D and any other 2D/2.D after S3&K has been awful or not even close to the originals.
Final Fantasy XV! Felt so empty once I completed the story. Still have some side quests to do and planning on getting those trophies! Might get the PC version as well since it's going to be a thing now.
I've just played through the entirety of the original Quake and the expansion packs: Scourge of Armagon and Dissolution of Eternity - both of which I've never played before and I had a bloody good time. I'll admit I played them after trying out the first episode of DUSK and damn was it REALLY good! I just wish there were more crazy shooters like that in this day and age. The level design those games went with was a form of art in itself that the majority of modern games just can't replicate.
Tales of the Abyss: Really awesome and almost to the final battle.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: Just racing Ghosts to get Gold gears.
Splatoon 2: Playing online to increase my rank.
Fire Emblem Heroes: Still trying to get those summer units.
Warcraft 3, Starcraft remastered, Path of exile and Neverwinter nights 2
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance.
And then Yakuza Kiwami.
Hanging onto some Toukiden 2 until MH XX for the switch releases.
Completed Silent Hill 2 (again) the other day and man I love that game to death - it's just so... I can't even describe it with words, like not only is it a phenomenal survival horror with an amazing story and characters with a beautifully bleak art style full of symbolism and artistry. The ending it what ties it all together in a pretty little bow because Mary's speech never fails to make me cry because I was so invested in the game and her voice actress did an incredible job of selling such an emotional scene. Heck I recorded it for my silly Youtube shenanigans and man did I try to hold back the tears but failed horribly :D
Also, this town is full of monsters! How can you just sit there and eat pizza!? Makes me laugh every time :D
Currently I'm replaying a childhood favourite: Spyro 2 and while the controls are way dodgier than I remember, it's still a damn good game worthy of another play! Might even get 100% completion :D
I'm currently playing Dead Or Alive Xtreme 3 Fortune.
