Well kinda depends on the person. I am not gonna say how much I spent for my last con but it was a rather large sum and for some folks especially younger goers might be a bit different.

Well for starters I always expect to spend only n parking and gas if you derive to con about 130 dollars. Also food I learnt to buy my meals outside con way cheaper or something from convenience store I would say between 5 to 10 bucks with plenty of water included. Also have some cash for sending I usually have around 3 to 5 hundred just to spend. Also I learnt to take a backpack with me with some water, snacks, back up battery or chargers for phone. Some games wouldn't be bad. I started to take my laptop to play games while waiting for panels since the lines were big since I have the USB controller. All this will be useful for cons such as Anime Expo and Comic Con. I usually tend to divide my days since I won't be able to everything I want to do in one day or so. I try to shop around the second day of such con so I know the exhibit hall or similar places don't run out of goods. Also try to visit those places before so you know where the stores you want to buy from so it'll make your buying easier. If you are buying a lot try to park as close to the con so you can visit your car and leave all your goods so you don't have to carry them all. The first day I usually become a photographer and take as many pictures as I can and attend the most of my panels and there will be a time when you ask yourself where to go next try to walk throughout the entire con so you can get an idea of what's happening. Forgot to mention something important try to look for a resting place beforehand while you walk so you can go there when you feel tire it's a big plus I would usually eat in my car and take an hour of con. Think that would be a pretty rough but good advice for first time or second time goers. Wear comfortable clothes and don't try to wear flashy or uncomfortable stuff since pretty much every con goer that's been around for a long time will be wearing something comfortable.

I am already working on something like that, it turns out you cannot make just one video because there is always something to talk about. It either has to be really long in sections of their own video.

I think you should break it into small videos like Walking through a con, eating during con, finding parking, buying and tips, and resting, also no fanboy/girl stuff it creeps cosplay ears I trout people was overreacting but I notice its quiet creepy sometimes not just guys but girls too

Yea like trying to go in a group for cheaper hotel rates. Planning what panels and events you want to go to. Taking your cosplay repair kit with you, or make sure ya know where it is at your particular con. Always have a meet up spot with friends if you go as a group, because sometimes it is impossible to hear your phone. A lot of little things like these.

I spent a long time writing a guide up, but when I clicked post it all disappeared! ( TДT) Maybe it got caught in the spam filter...? Awww... I've been going to cons for years and I'm a member of staff for some. If you request a guide for a specific topic I can re-type it up.
hendrix
just write down one important thing then
