Bugs and Suggestions This Far

Again, a simple stickies thread could answer all of that quickly. No need for an external wiki page. That's overkill, and to be quite honest, borderline awkward. To want to put the time and effort into a wiki page that maybe 2% of maiotaku members will actually take the time to read seems like a waste of time. I am kinda confused as to why you want brownie points from the admin for this? You are a regular member who personally said you want to become a mod, is this an attempt at ass kissing to persuade sephiroth to make you one, because I cannot see another purpose as to why somebody would go out of their way to do something like this without being asked. This isn't a troll, this is a serious discussion / question for you. Why are you so obsessed with this. In comparison, this is an extremely small community compared to most websites, let alone dating sites. Do you honestly believe the 14-17 year old who sign up are going to read a wiki page about this site, which again, I don't understand why they are even allowed to sign up? And anybody over 18 can easily read a sucked thread on how to's. In fact, If the layout was worked on and made more user friendly, there wouldn't even be a need for a sticky, thus making roughly 25% of your wiki obsolete. Not everything needs a wiki. It's like saying I'm going to make a wiki page on how to fix the clock on my VCR player, 15 years after vcrs went to dvds, and now bluray. The tl;dr version is this: once (if) sephiroth makes the interface more user friendly, the wiki will be pointless. Instead of working on that, maybe come up with designs or suggestions on how to make it more user friendly. What would make navigating the site easier, not only for pc users, but also mobile. Maybe make maiotaku an app version like most other saying sites. Do something that will be productive in the long term, not something that, with all due respect, most people won't bother to look at. And stop Brown nosing, it makes you look semi pathetic. :/

You are missing the point. The point is you can gain the same effect with a simple stickied thread. On top of that, sephiroth could take the suggestion about adding the (#) next to inbox, and adding a new link, with the same (#) for friends, with the (#) being used for new friends invites. It IS a user friendly issue that can be easily resolved with a few minor tweaks. Again, there is no need for a wiki with those the simple additions. If you disagree, fine, but I'm saying what I'm sure most people are thinking. Take it for what it is. Edit, the last comment is for active forum users.

Mooshi moosh...New here Love the idea behind the website. Also love the fact that its a website and not a search engine, most other websites wont do other country matches. Question if lets say I have a friend who has a friend that has another friend all otaku and they have over 400 friends on fb each. If I put the word out can this website handle large increase in memebers? My pages have become blank saying "experiencing traffic" first day I signed up...which was last night xD. Coined thought in air: Pictures, the ability to post pix in comments and/or a spot in forums where anime/drawings can be posted. Possibly raising popularity of website for easy access of original or unique pictures and backgrounds. Suggestions: We are a marvelous bunch of humans/nekos/vamps/gamers/etc.. who have a diff view of the world. I am sure that the ability to change Font and Font color would greatly increase the likeness of the website. Uuuu n maybe underlining button ^+^ (side note)Maybe something that could be unlocked with hearts ;) Also simple icon faces O_o A games and games liked section. Not all of my high rated animes are my fav. Not sure if that can be done in the my fav anime section of my profile. Organized: If added a like button to comments and forums. The website wouldn't seem soo messy. For example: if I were to post in anime forum on how/where I can find the fairy tale pix were natsu and the fighters are beat up and getting up slowly in a hallway(<--real question I can't find it anywhere lol) Having the most liked comment automatically moved right under the topic or question of forum. Making me and anyone else able to find the answer in a snap. So if wanted I could scroll on to see the discussion on the topic. Instead of looking for answer in endless pages of random chatter in my specifically questioned forum. Ability to Delete a post or forum that maybe I want to take back or has been answered and not needed anymore. Search Bar: My biggest concern with the website. To avoid double posting the ability to search specific topics and posts in forums. Last n not least is notifications in general. Someone posted an important answer in my forums topic I would want to know. My forum topic increased in likes n so forth. Later Suggestions: Chat is not needed. Slows internet, gets cluttered with tweenies, and is overall messy. This is a dating site best to keep it personal.(my 2 cents) Customize profile option: A simple profile background pix feature would be a nice way to show our individual stuff to potential kawaii wifies. We don't need anything fancy we could customize pic at home or most likely know someone who can ^-^. Again this feature isn't necessarily needed. Heart Ideas: Unlocking some or all of the suggested features. Unlocking a unique pix to send to a special someone. Discount!! Some of us could stay with website for awhile and could get discouraged always paying the same. Not much maybe just 50cents or gradually getting a discount to a bottom price. Also for those who are short on cash signed up for free having lots of hearts maybe need help finding there special someone would get encouraged with discount to pay a little something to help in there search. There are more concerns but skimming through this forum topic most others have already addressed them. Still an awshum interwebs website ^+^

Why are my pic always side way

Actually chris appears to be using a camera which uses the EXIF orientation property on a JPEG instead of rotating the image. When a device uses the orientation property, instead of properly rotating the image so it's upright it saves the image but includes a number indicating how the image should be rotated in order to look upright. However this EXIF property is not universally supported, so you will get various tools that'll automatically rotate and display it the "right" way and others that'll ignore the attribute and just display the actual image data in the JPEG. In this case the library in charge of creating thumbnails doesn't support the property. So if you view the full original image you might see the upright image if your browser supports the property (and possibly the raw image if your browser doesn't) while all thumbnails are not upright because the thumbnails were created from the raw image without any EXIF data.

He didn't take the photo sideways, look at his phone, It's straight up and down... *shakes head* And thank you Daniel for explaining why that is happening. I had the same problem at first too.

Fixing the proximity for nearest distance matches. C'mon, I'm getting closest matches in places like Indonesia, Afghanistan, and the Philippines. I know it is an error because I sometimes get matches way closer to me, like in the United States.
