hahaha, no. Online dating is horrible. Floods of desperate guys that outnumber women 4 - 1 swarm on them and harass them till the decent ones leave and only the fickle, entitled, and spoiled ones are left. They in turn become so picky that no one on this earth can reach their standards. It's a lose lose situation where people rarely come out on top.

Depends on person to person. You may prefer either one. Honestly, you get a larger list of possibilities online, as you can literally meet people from around the world, while in reality, you may meet new people everyday or you may meet someone once a year if you are lucky (again, this is based on who you are), so it is all relative even in that respect.

I think it’s easy to meet someone online that you have a lot on common with but in the long run you’d have to be open to eventually meeting up in person. It’s frustrating to want to be in a relationship with someone who never wants to meet you in person.

I already posted here already but why not renew my opinion a bit more. Eh, not really. But it's definitely the next best thing. Just don't expect it to be the place you meet the one, not that it's impossible but simply because it's best to go into it with the short term in mind when you start dating someone. Do it for the fun of it, if you feel you can go further and actually meet up and what-not then that's when you can think about stepping it up to something more serious. If you're dating for fun then online dating might just the thing for you but if you're looking for something more serious and long term then you better make sure you can visit your partner because going months upon months or even years without ever meeting up once can really suck imo.

It goes both ways, really. Long distance relationships usually consists of state to state or overseas which more likely result a failed relationship in the end. However, a long distance relationship in a same state but different city are usually successful if there were to be a compatibility. Even being compatible while in a state to state or overseas relationship can still end up in failure.
