Lowkey kinda wild, never really get the people who think this genocide is not ok but all the others were fine. Wildest take i have seen is people who are pro-Palestine saying another group who faced actual genocide deserved it. I am still waiting for the uyghur muslims to get justice from china but idk

Two months ago someone did the same thing in Atlanta and it got little attention. This time it was live streamed. This has to be a PR nightmare for the military.

@verucassault and can you imagine congress wants to allow illegal immigrants to join our military and gain citizenship through service? While i get citizenship through service is a great idea. No way in hell should we allow that. Rome fell because they allowed the barbarians to join their military. We already have high ranking officials leaking classified weapon systems. Things like weakness, strengths, location, all that to china. The military is failing and im starting to wonder why. Is it because we kicked a bunch of good people out of the military for the covid vaccine stuff? Is it because we have a system that promotes people who kiss up to people who grade their promotion packages? Is it because we have a system that focuses on new recruits instead of honing the talent you already have? Is it because we underpay and make payment cuts during an inflationary period? Or is it because we have bad leaders who dont care anything about the people they are over and really became leaders because they stayed in long enough to make it there which in turn forces good people to leave. It could be anything tbh. Now i dont wnana sound bitter or anything but i have seen it all. For me specifically i have been told "hey we arent gonna put you in the position you want to move into." Even though im getting a degree in the area, have an interest for it, and the work around to getting me in there is simple they just dont want to do it because i probably pissed them off. Then we have other people getting told "why the fuck should i approve your leave so you can go home and see your family?" This is the military right now.

I get we all signed up for this, but we are the 1% who raised our hand and ran toward the danger. You would think that the world's best military would have the world's best leaders. But in the 6 years i have been in, I have only met like 3, and they are all retired now.

I avoided the State of the Union address but now I see the father of a marine killed in the exit of Kabul was arrested for disrupting it.

The state of the union address over the last 4 years has been a pass for me. There is nothing Joe could say to me that will convince me of anything. Even his address to the military was like "i dont wanna hear this." I forsee us losing big time against whatever forces come at us in the future and thr masisve influx of terrorist through our border is evidence. How tf is china sending people for asylum? They have whole continents to cross to even get over here.
