Destiny 2: Love It or Hate It and Why?

kuroshiro_2573
So, I've been playing a lot of Destiny 2 since it went free to play, and by Shlooter standards, I'd say it is pretty good, but I have my own fair share of issues with it, one being the fact that there are too many quests that require PVP, I don't want that, leave the PVP to those who enjoy it and let me be the RPG enthusiast that I am, but in cases like many of the exotic weapon quests, there is a lot of this "Defeat X amount if Guardians" or "Do X amount of Gambit". Besides this, I like the strikes and various other activities, though I wish the LFG discord didn't get closed down 12 hours of the day, as it makes it hard for me to get the help I need for certain quests. So this is where I stop ranting myself and ask, what do all of you think, do you like D2 or do you hate it and why?

I’m a D1 veteran. Day one player and have constantly played the game until D2: Season of Opulence. The game has gone through so many changes that it’s nothing like what it was when “The Taken King” dropped. The game just changed so much that I’ve kinda just gotten sick of always adjusting to it every 6 months. The game was amazing in Vanilla D1 and I will always look back to the days when I first played it. D2 now a days just feels like it’s trying too hard focusing on keeping it’s players. Though, the season of Undying did bring me back. Just for half the season though. I will say that as this season is about to end, they added a bit of story that has me a bit interested. Just a bit. In the end, I enjoy doing new things in Destiny, but having to repeat things over and over just isn’t fun. After I have done everything once, I just try to collect things. That’s it

I've played D1, it was incredibly lacking content. Lost interest after 3 months, and then when I heard they were sell D2 (WHEN IT SHOULD BE JUST A MAJOR UPDATE FOR A MMO). I was like wow... But hey, now we know it was all the scummy practices of Activision's CEO asshole Bobby Kotick meddling with the game's life expectancy (YOU KNOW THEY WERE PLANING A DESTINY 3, THE CUNTS). I'm happy Bungie broke off of Activation, but they have a long fucking way to go to fully recover, and I'm not sure if they'll ever are gonna jump back up again.

In terms of player count, who knows, but for making games individually, they'll do fine thanks to their previous games and what they did for their reputation.
