Chaos;Head: Pretty forgettable to me. I know Child is a sort of S2, but even remembering anything about the former was difficult to the point they needed an awkwardly paced lead up episode since it's also been so long between the two. Robotics;Notes: Kind of middling about this one, with a slight err toward liking. There was one particular death I took issue with in how it happened, but I think the whole premise on the feasibility of giant robots was somewhat refreshing compared to the glut of other mecha shows. Steins;Gate: My favorite of the bunch. Could've done without them slipping the trap character in, but Japan's gonna Japan. Overall, the Groundhog Day-esque mind games of trying to revise time/events is something I usually find interesting when done right. Occultic;Nine: Most recent of the completed shows, I think it suffers from trying to jam way too much into a single season. As a result, I got the feeling the cast was a tad too large, some characters underrepresented, and the ending just leaving a sort of, "...that's it?" taste in my mouth. Unless there's content for an S2, but for now, I'd probably prefer a rewatch of RN before this.

I gave up on them after dropping both ChäoS;Child and Occultic; nine Around the same span. The way I see it Steins;Gate is the only good entry in the series. ChäoS;HEAd was a rushed and kind of crappy harem but I at least enjoyed it for it's relatable MC. ChäoS;Child went and took a dump on that however by retconning ChäoS;HEAd and taking it into a much darker direction. ChäoS;Child itself I really didn't care much for at all, 2edgy4me. I really can't stand shows that glorify blood and gore like that, maybe if I was still a 13 year old I might think it was hip and cool, but these days I can only see that stuff as being immature trash. Had the same issue with Occultic; nine and it's take on death being rad awesome and super cool. That aside, in the case of Occultic; nine I also couldn't stand the rushed dialog, found the art annoying, the characters obnoxious, and though the megamilk character was down right grotesque, not to mention completely inappropriate for that type of series. As for Robotics;Notes, it was mediocre at best with a moronic ending and I doubt anyone would remember or care about it if not for it's ties to those other works.

I enjoy the whole series since they have an overarching plot line that connects with each other. I can't force you to watch them but if all you watch is steins;gate then your missing a lot of the story. Chaos;child so far is just a rehash of all the events that happened in chaos;head but who knows were it will go since the story has yet to be finished. not sure if occult;nine should even be a part of the same series there really aren't any big connections in there and just seems to be a different story that's not related

What overarching plot line? A minor side character in Steins;Gate shows up to act as a minor side character in Robotics;Notes, and that's about as much connectivity as any of them have. Aside from that it's just tiny easy to miss detals, like in Steins;Gate where they have an easteregg related to ChäoS;HEAd in the form of a post it's main character makes online during a brief scene. There's no "overarching plot line", they're all completely self contained stories. Did you even watch them?
