[WIxoss] Imagine that you became a「Selector」

Wixoss is name of a card game. However, according to the world settings of 'Lostorage Incited Wixoss' (on air Fall 2016), you will no longer be 'just' a card game player if you were chosen as a 「Selector」. Instead, you'd be subjected to the following additional rules: --> You will be given 5 coins that embody your memories. A coin would turn from gold to back if you lose a card game battle, and vice versa. --> If all your 5 coins turns black, you'd disappear: not just your memory, but also your personality. In other words, you'd become another person. --> If all your 5 coins turns gold, you'll get a reward: you can change or delete pieces of your memory to whatever way you like. --> There is a time limit for not having battles. If you've been avoiding having battles past that time limit, one of your coins would turn black automatically. Sounds pretty doomed to become a Selector, right? Unfortunately, Selectors are chosen randomly by the cards, so imagine you had the super bad luck of becoming one. What would you do? Do you have any piece of memory that's so dear to you that it would give you the reason to fight for protecting it? Or, do you have any memory that's tying you up, and you'd battle to break those chains and be free? I wouldn't like either option. I want to remember what really happened in my life. I can't change the choices I've made but I can learn from them in the future. I don't want to forget the bad and I don't want fake memories.

I'd choose option 3: "avoid having battle to the maximum extent in order not to destroy other selector". Or battle and allow another person to win so they can get the reward.

Loli_Vampire, I wouldn't want that either. So I guess you'd have to do battles simply for protecting your real memories from getting taken away. Or, stay away from card games to avoid getting chosen as a Selector in the first place :P Illuminous, That's a really kind choice. In the show there's also a boy who chose to do that at the cost of loosing his own memories.
