Star Wars Fanfic: History of Bralmas 2

never_more
After leaving the frozen wasteland of Hoth, I continued my journey across the galaxy. As I escaped, I began to reach out with my newly tuned senses to try and located more sith artifacts to satisfy my hunger for power. I was able to sense something coming from the Tobali system, which I found quite strange. The system had no planets of value, there was nothing there. I decided to search the system regardless, programing the hyperdrive, and would be there within a few days. During the journey, I continued to try and use my senses to pinpoint the powers true origin. The results were frustrating to say the least. All I was able to confirm, is that whatever this power was, it was located on a planet called Rhen Var. I decided to research the planet. I discovered the planet was another frigid world like Hoth. But unlike its counterpart, Rhen Var used to be filled with vegetation and wildlife, but, an atmospheric calamity caused the planet to become a frozen tundra. The irony was great, one frigid world to another, but i didnt care. After training on Hoth for so many years, a part of me missed the crisp air and somewhat peaceful atmosphere. I knew these were strange thoughts for a sith to have, but, one again I was more focused on retrieving the power I sensed. After three days in hyperspace, I exited the portal to experience my first look at Rhen Var. From orbit it looked quite similar to Hoth, though Hoth was much larger than Rhen Var. Once I broke into Rhen Var's atmosphere, I couldn't tell any difference at all. If I didn't know any better, I would think. I had never left Hoth. After taking in the "scenery", I began to reach out again to located the power's source. Being closer to the planet helped tremendously as I was able to find the source within minutes. I sense the power was coming from an ancient temple on the far side of the planet. However, this power felt familiar in a way, not like the sith artifacts, but familiar just the same. I couldn't understand why ones would place such power on such frigid worlds? Perhaps they hoped the cold would freeze anymore who came looking for it. After searching for a few hours, I came across a grand temple. I could tell it was old but, not like the one on Hoth. It stood tall, with weathered brinks and pillars making up its structure. But my senses kept telling me the power was close, in fact, right under my ship. As I searched the ground from the air, I could see someone fighting below and whomever it was, had a lightsaber. Engaging the auto pilot, I leaped from my ship to stop the struggle. Once I hit the ground, I saw what was truly happening. The one holding the saber was a woman, she was wearing uniquely patterned robes. I recognized the look immediately, she was a Jedi. She was fighting a group of pirates it seemed like, and winning. However, one of them was able to blast her arm and stunned her. Before he could fire another shot, I reached out with the force to stop him. The fool helplessly choked as I finished him with the force. The remaining pirates now turned to me. "Another Jedi, kill him!" Their leader yelled. These pirates were fools if they thought they could defeat me. Igniting my lightsaber, I preceded to cut through the remaining pirates. When the last one fell, I turned my attention to the Jedi but, then was struck by my senses once more. They were telling me I had found the power but, that was impossible. This was a Jedi, she couldn't possibly be the source. As I tried to take control, I heard her speak. "Halt Sith" she commanded. I raised my blade and prepared to fight. But then, I began to feel my senses again. They were less severe this time and I could think clearly. The sith taught that all Jedi were weak, yet I could sense great power coming from this woman. Was I wrong? Was the Dark side a false teaching? She must have sensed my confusion and she began to speak again. "What's the matter, to afraid to face me?!" "Who are you Jedi?" I asked "I am Jedi Master Sharon Qunia" she replied. Sharon? That name sounded quite familiar but, before I could ponder further, I was hit my a vision. I could see my old masters looking over the younglings that were to be taken to the temple. That's when I heard it. "And who are you young one?" "Sharon sir" a little girl responded "I believe you will be the strongest of us one day little Sharon, I have no doubt" the master said smiling. I couldn't believe it, this Jedi was a survivor from that dreadful day like myself. But we clearly took two very different paths. I could sense great power within her, yet, also great frustration. I knew I had to find a way to convince her of my identity. Turning off my saber, I began to speak. "We have met before you and I, many moons ago on a distant world" "Silence sith, I've never seen the likes of you!" "An assassin killed our master, everyone scattered and fled. Our master and his apprentices fought the red monster while everyone else escaped." I could see she was thinking about this and began to remember. "Who are you?" She asked confused "I am Darth Bralmas, but, in those early days, I was known as Byan." "No, that's impossible, your trying to trick me like all sith do, your lying." "I saw you Sharon, how the master said you would be the strongest among the Jedi. Search your memories." I saw that she began to remember, but pointed her saber at me. "I do remember, but, I also, sense the darkness within you. You disgrace our masters by following the sith" I began to feel ashamed, she was right, my master would most likely kill me if he saw what I had become. But that's when she spoke again. "But. I also, sense great confusion in you. From what I've heard the sith, most would've tried to kill me by now, but you did nothing. Plus you saved my life, and I know no sith has done that." "We've taken different paths since that dark day, but, you are correct, I will not kill you". She began to look me over, wondering what to do next, that's when she spoke once more. "If you aren't here to kill me, then what are doing here"? "I came to this world becuase I sensed a great power, and I wished to seek it out". I decided not to reveal that she was the power, at least for now. "Why do you want to find it, and if you succeed, what will you do with it?" She no doubt believed I would use the power to gain stronger and fuel my dark power, while not entirely incorrect, things changed. I didn't believe the power would be a person, a Jedi none the less. "I wish simply to learn from it". What happened next, suprised me to say the least. Sharon pointed her saber towards me "Then fight me, and I"ll see if your worthy of the knowledge you want so badly." "As you wish", I said with a smirk. The battle between us lasted for hours. Never had a experienced such a challenge. Dueling against an actual warrior was unlike anything I've felt before. Perhaps this Jedi could teach me something after all.

I read both parts. It was very interesting. Good job! I'm a Star Wars fan too, so this really appealed to me.
