Stiens gate just finished opinions??

mik_san
Just finished stiens gate .... I'd give it my 7/10 was very good ...... Again sucker for the romance in it but still , it got my attention very quick which is good ..... Found the comedy played well with the severity ..... The characters were also very good loved the male and female protagonists ..... I love the time travel stuff but would only say negative about it is you would have to pay close attention to it or it might throw you off or get lost in the plot because of the time shift even tho it explains it in the series ...... Other than that it was fantastic doooot doo doo do do doooo Opinions??

I have watched 3 episodes and then put it on hold because it wasn't as good as I expected it to be. Is it getting much better after that or will it stay like this the entire anime? I'm not sure if I should start watching again or just drop it..

See I'm like your self sometimes with some anime it takes me a while sometimes your watch a few and it's not happening then you plow through and by near enough the end you can't believe you hadn't kept on watching it or it had been longer ect so yeah my advice would be .... Yeah keep watching if you don't like it i totally take the blame but I only would ask what is putting you off most about it ?

It's kind of like the Haruhi Suzumiya series. You kind of have to pay extra close attention to detail for the plot to truly kick off for you. If you enjoyed this series and you liked paying attention to the plot, I think you would enjoy Shinsekai Yori greatly ~ Kurisu and Okabe are my biases out of all anime series. Their chemistry was very interactive and it mixed very well in my opinion. But, I didn't exactly watch it for the romance, it was just a nice touch. I did admittedly feel some unpleasant emotions while watching it, but, it wasn't strong since it was kind of spoiled for me >.>. This is why I don't like talking about anime series that are completed while I am still working on finishing them. I wouldn't mind doing a couple cosplay of Kurisu and Okabe one day. Actually, I'd love it! @Ruk it isn't everyone's cup of tea. If I didn't like Miyano Mamoru, I would've dropped this anime completely from the third episode as well. It takes nearly 9 episodes for it to kick off, but, it isn't rated the 3rd best anime for no reason haha! It's an immersive story and it's mind breaky. Kind of like Re:Zero although Re:Zero didn't exactly take a long time to take off. If you do not fall for either Kurisu or Okabe after the end of the series, you have my applause!

A couple cosplay would be an awesome idea. Then you could stand together with your hands in your pockets or drink some Dr Pepper :P

Yeah, the plot did take a little time to build. But for me the characters personalities kept me interested. But after a while it got deep and I was waiting and waiting with anticipation for the next episode to come out each week. I would rate it among one of my top 10 favorites. @Rukaya, I would definitely give it another chance.

@Sunbae, I feel like it really picked up at episode 6, but it's been a while since I watched it. In my opinion, Steins;Gate may be the best anime I've ever watched for all the reasons everyone else stated. I also feel like it's one of those shows that can translate to any form of media and that anyone who likes intense sci-fi thrillers can enjoy without being an anime fan.

@Spitfire The Siege Yeah, I agree.

@subae @spitfire the siege @ Wesley-sensei ..... I have to agree with everyone too Defos up there with being the best anime iv seen and would find it tough liking it as much as i do and waiting every week for the next episode if I was watching it when it was out ... Also would say the fact of a cosplay is of that is decent as i work in a pharmacy we use lab coats it would be funny to see it
