Boredom

In my eyes there are a few ''different'' forms of boredom: not wanting to do anything and everything is not fun enough, you don't know what to do, you have nothing to do Recently I find myself being bored as hell, more often then ever before, which results in me falling back in an old habit of eating junkfood when I shouldn't(I need to lose weight), or just getting ''sad'' and lying on the floor, staring at my ceiling, questioning my existence. I probably sound like whiny bitch, ah well. How do you handle/manage extreme boredom ? Do you have your own ''plan'': what to do when bored ? Or do you just wait for it to go ? What is YOUR method ?

Work helps. Of course, it doesn't help if you're bored at work.XD My advice is, find a hobby you enjoy or maybe one you've never really thought of before or...interact with people... That last one gets me a little too.;P

I have hobbies, which includes writing. The problem is, I've had a writer's block for years and I got a ''cool'' concept in my opinion for a story, but I quickly throw that idea away, because I think it's not good enough, perfectionist at my writing. I try talking to some people, but as I am online a lot and some people I know are not online as much, I tend to get inpatient/bored again. I don't WANT to play the victim here, although I probably sound like I do, but I don't want that, but I am curious as to how other people ''treat'' it

Perfectionist? Are you a published author? You're going to write crap before you write gold. I write as well, but the longer you stop writing, the harder it is to get back in the groove. Get out and find people to interact with. Surely you have at least one in person friend. You're getting yourself into a slump. I'll bet you procrastinate a lot, too(I understand that..). Only you can make the change and no one can tell you what I'm sure you already know.

That's the truth, yup ! I feel a lot better though, I'll keep the post up, but things like walking help me clear my head again. Sure, I have friends, but they are busy a lot, so I need to find a way to entertain myself ;p
