THE TALE OF "KID" AND MAIOTAKU On a day that seemed like any other there was a Kid. A kid who decided that after many years of living where he lived, without finding anyone nearby who was interested in anime, to search out into the vast internet. He was searching for friendships and maybe something more... He didn't have much faith in himself in finding someone be they friend or more and so he was limited in where he could look because due to his lack of faith he didn't want to pay for any memberships. The idea struck him to search out "anime" and "free" and "dating". He didn't find much in his search and virtually everywhere he looked seemed to ask for what he was against giving. Then if found it...he found Maiotaku. It was a place for many people all over the world to join together to talk with each other and find friends and more! It was on that day that this "Kid" found his way to Maiotaku where he was in for more of a ride than he ever would have expected. A ride that still continues to this day, going down paths that he never knew he would tread nor never imagined.

Once upon a time, there was a girl who just worked and worked. It was then she longed to have some one to entertain her and keep her company and have the same interests as her. She wanted a friend. A friend who had common interest like games and anime. It was then she scrolled down a page and discovered a site called Maiotaku. A place where anyone who liked anime was welcome. The girl was intrigued and excited and so right then she signed up. She finally had found a place where she felt welcome and was able to share anything anime with the other people who had the same interest. She was no longer bored and isolated.
