Your key example is exactly what I was getting at. Without balance, a family is bound to fail. Also, I seem to recall your so called roots rotting away. I mean, equality isn't important according to you. But, I don't need to convince you, you've got it all figured out at nineteen.

^Times have changed, technology has changed, more women are working and so those set roles are no longer relevant to us in our day and age. We should embrace change and break free from gender roles.

I would love to be homemaker if I don't have to go out and get a job.

It doesn't have anything to do with giving birth. Women are working more often, and both women and men are able to even work from home or telecommute due to technology. So, men can take care of their children without the mom being home all the time. There are so many reasons why men and women do not need to rely on gender roles, and why these gender roles are obsolete now. But, these are some of them. Really, it's all about equality which you seem opposed to, but whether or not you agree with it it is going to become a reality a little at a time.

One day it will ^~^ look the point is, gender roles is an outdated system used by older societies. Women didn't have rights in these older societies so intern (as much as I hate the concept) it made sense. I know a lot of relationships were the man is the house husband and the wife is the money-maker. New societies, new baseline for the norm. We can't continue to follow some prehistoric philosophy. It works and it's going to become a norm, with or without you.

Yeah biology =/= gender roles. And also as an aside, if one is going to make a blanket statements, I'd like to see some peer reviewed studies and statistics. Because as we all know, anecdotal doesn't equal data
