In my opinion, real life or internet I don't really trust anyone. From a perspective of a person that had been betrayed in different ways with the person whom she thought she could trust, well that's life. My life is more on yes, get friends with everybody but then when they left you out or just vanish before your eyes, I know what it means. It's like not having the commitment and acting as if this person doesn't exist. What hurts me more is waiting for something that won't return instead of acting like a person doesn't exist in your world anymore. But then when there are people I seem to think pretty trustworthy, I give them the chance. It's just that once they break my trust, there isn't next time. c:

It is hard to trust especially when people whom you trust cannot be honest with you from the get go and you start to build walls. And when you think youre okay to trust again because you think they are trustworthy, they disappoint you. So you dont wanna trust again. Until your inhibitions will eat you and you wanted to coop up to your own world and wished you never should have trusted. Hence it is one of the factors that makes us say, trust no one -you will be safer.

I generally go by the whole "Trust, but verify" mentality, and so Far, I think my judge of character online and off is pretty good. I generally know the subtle cues that someone gives when they're trying to get something out of me. So far, I've met one person from this site in real life, and we're both alive, healthy, and unviolated. I'm happy I made a new friend. On the other hand, even when I trust someone utterly and completely, I still make it a habit to not put all my eggs in one basket. But thats just logical self sufficiency, not a trust issue.

This is a good idea, people get this sick, twisted sense of you owing them something later on. You don't owe them shit
