I think compared to other websites, this site has a pretty high female/male ratio. But then again... (•_•) / ( •_•)>⌐■-■ / (⌐■_■) It may just be me.

arc half of those female accounts are pretty much made up i know you gey a ton of those friend request from people with nothing but cosplay pictures of the same character and no bio whatsoever even after you say hi you get no response so yeah half of those accounts are made up also thread creator your making yourself look bad right now cause just like j said girls will see this thread and if you maybe had a chance before you probably wont now. and its not even like guys are the only ones chasing after the girls here i've been here almost a year and have yet to send more than 10 friend requests to girls on here but i bet you go look at my friends list and i have way more than 10 added. my current girlfriend i didnt even chase after her she literally came to me its all about your personality and how interesting people think you are trust me if you were interesting enough you wouldnt have to compete for anyone

In some ways, but its encrypted in Man-enese. I wouldn't necessarily the whole thread is sexist. Its primarily one sex talking about the other sex. I'm personally not sexist, but things in this thread could offend both sides.

People in this community tend to treat it more as a facebook for anime fans than a dedicated dating site. There are people genuinely looking for a relationship that join, but the unfortunate reality is trying to wade through all the potential accounts and finding those people. That's compounded by the fact of everyone being so spread out, several people joining only to stop coming back after a few days and subsequently having hundreds of dead accounts, as well as a lot of age disparity between people who join. If you're dead-set on using this site to find a relationship, my best suggestions to anyone: - Have at least a couple irl pics of yourself in your profile. Anime stuff is fine for avatars, but you should have enough confidence in yourself to at least show what you really look like online. - Put yourself out there. Send friend requests, post on people's walls, and make posts and reply to threads on the forum. As said in this thread before, just opening up a profile and sitting here waiting and twiddling your thumbs isn't going to get people to talk to you or go to your profile. Girls are the minority on this site, and there's even fewer who are actually looking for a relationship. At least making an effort to engage the community will put your name out there more and show you want to contribute as an active member. - Have a somewhat thorough description of yourself in your profile and say what you're here for. I click on a lot of profiles and go to the "info" section of someone's profile only to me met with a few vague sentences about themselves and interests. You don't have to write a book about yourself, but at least put some effort there so people can know what you're about.

Haha I ended up finding this site due to extreme boredom and a 2 am coffee (never ever do that btw -_-), and because I was looking for some kind of otaku community. Since at my place, being one makes you basically the same thing as an outcast, and talking about that stuff in public is considered a taboo for some whatever reason I don't care about lol. Didn't really come here with an intention to date somebody, even though this is a dating site. Plus pretty much everyone thinks I'm gay anyway so meh. xD
