Are you anxious or depressed?

Anxious and depressed, for not being able to find a fucking job, which I really need right now. Sigh I wish I can force employers to hire me, or if I was a cute girl, I'd do prostitution or do drug dealing, or something along those lines, but alas, none are options to take due to them being illegal.

@Tiger Festival - what are your work skills bro? just curious. @Genei-jin - I hear you man. In my last year of college I was soooo ready to get out of there and start doing my thing. @tweakingthegamma - You are going to be a EE? That's awesome! We need more EEs! It's the future. I used to struggle with social anxiety, used to get panic attacks so bad I couldn't leave my house to go to work on a rare occasion. For me the biggest step to break the cycle was to stop being so focused on pleasing others and earning their approval and instead, learning to approve of myself. Once I took that hard look inside and saw me and realized what was really happening outside my fears I knew what I had to do. Many years later it still drives me to always keep reaching for higher ground.

Yeah I get problems with depression from time to time, but it usually passes on it's own. When it hits though boy it hits hard.. anxious not so much... I guess a bit when thinking about the future, path I'm heading down and such.

Neither... used to be anxious in middle school because I got into a new class where I knew nobody but everyone else already formed their little cliques. I became an outcast and closed myself in.. but I fought it and eventually that became my favourite class I've ever been in. Got some other issues but those can't really be categorized as depression or anxiety. Either way I wish you the best of luck.

Both for over 10 years now. Currently on medication and seeing a councillor and psychiatrist. I can't remember what it is like to not feel this way.
