Need advice to find a date

happinesswhispers
Ok I just broke up and I'm looking to find a relationship. I am almost 16 looking for a male that is around my age. Anyone got any advice? D:

Yeah, you're 16, what's the rush? Also, again, you're 16 and you will have many more break ups. Enjoy being single and focus on getting prepared to be an adult.

My advice is don't rush into it, just be yourself and talk to people you're interested in.

So just take my time? But what if it's "the one"?

If it's "the one" time will be nothing. Rushing into things will almost always end badly, take that as a whole-hearted advice, I'm sure almost everyone here will tell you the same thing. If it's meant to be things will fall into place naturally without you even noticing until everything has been set.

Thank you. I will be sure to take my time. If it really is the one, you're right it will happen naturally.

You're still in high school I assume? Frankly, I wouldn't worry too much about any major relationships until you hit college. High School is such a small part of your life and you'll meet a lot of new people when you're done and moved on. If you're really hard up and focused on finding a bf, I'd suggest trying to find any anime clubs or gaming related groups in your area. Lord knows there are no shortage of guys out there with similar interests to your own.

take some time and let it happen naturally. Don't just jump into one because one just ended. take a bit of time to recover I'd say.

There's still so much change that you're going to go through, so putting all your bets into one high school relationship isn't good. Basically what everyone else said^. Also get some experience with relationships for later in life. That's usually when relationships get way more serious. Best of luck.

Why not if you found someone or somebody pique your interest, try asking "Want to try dating? *in a poker face", if they disagree, then find another, but if you think even a little bit that they are somewhat curious, then good luck. As time goes by and you still doing that, those people who denied you will be conscious of you like they are irritated or starting assuming things, something like that. If that happens, don't mind what they think, that's if you can even think like that.
