Helpful things for the Maitaku noobs

Hullo, as a noob myself, I've noticed that there is key information that many of us new to the site don't know yet. If you are like me and are forum-tarded or just lazy it can be hard to find said information. So hopefully by collecting these tricks of the trade here everybody will have an easier time leveling up. Receiving notifications on threads other than your own. ________________________________ Beside the thread title there is a opaque blue star. Clicking this brings up a prompt asking if you would like to receive notifications for that thread. The star is solid when you are receiving notifications. Uploading images TO the web _______________________________ A fairly simple method is signing up for an account on Imgur. Then copy the BBCode that imgur creates for your image. Paste it to your forum post and there you go. Posting images FROM the web ______________________________ I haven't personally used this method so bare with me. If asked nicely Sunflower might be able to explain nicely. Sunflower is a pro at this. Find the URL for the image on google image search. But be sure that it is the actual image URL, not the link to the image. Copy/paste to desired post. Yataaa you did it!
