Uhmmm still don't think is feminism since the definition of that movement has nothing to do with what she has done. I'm pretty sure the guy in this thread already confirmed he would have done that regardless of the genre or sex they had so... That only means that people has a wrong definition of what feminism is. Basically is just equality, it doesn't mean you should reject help from people no matter who they are because it makes you feel useless and butthurt. That's why I think her behavior has nothing to do with feminism because that word doesn't mean "men hating" see my point? She just does not fall under that description. However I'm aware that there are people out there that describe themselves as feminists when in reality they are just haters yet I still want to say just because people think something is a certain way it doesn't mean is the absolute truth.

I wasn't starting an argument, I just was saying that I don't care what people do in the name of this movement. Is the same as saying Christianity is something bad just because some powerful race used that religion as an excuse to get rid of what they thought were nuisances to them when nobody not even the Creator they claimed worshipped gave them the power to do so, they just decided it themselves. Even like saying the Earth is flat just because a lot of people believed it was when is not. That's just what I was trying to say. I don't think you are wrong.

I would just say that i think you did a good job and that she was rather ungrateful no reason to call you an asshole it was a rather honorble deed ;)

Honestly I think she was just lashing out. When people get kinda trapped in a high tension situation like you've described her situation to have been, it's understandable that emotions are going to run high and that she can lash out. I've seen BOTH guys and girls act like that where the person can lash out at someone who is just trying to help. I've been people, regardless of gender, do this so many times in both real life and in media that's it's really a cliche. Honestly, I would just brush it off. As long as the situation has been deescalated, then it's a win all around in my book

Unless she threw the SJW dictionary assault at you in the gym it was not likely because of feminism. Like xueli said she was likely lashing out. Think about this: Women are under a insane amount pressure when it comes to looks. She is there trying to get fit and healthy and was bearing the jerks antics. To accept something needs fixing in your life is a hard enough pill to swallow and then finding the inner strength to change. I love the picture of scene but you white knighting may have unintentionally made her feel worse about herself because some stranger felt they had to step in implying she is incapable of handling her own life. Just a guess. Some people with disabilities have a similar chip on their shoulder because they do not want special treatment or pity(even if warranted). I would not take it too personally and forget about it.

=_= I really get twitchy about people calling me a white knight for what I did. A white knight would have used words to peacefully get them to stop because its the right thing to do. I attacked a guy because he pissed me off, then pretended it was an accident. Not very knight like if you ask me. I don't want people to think bad of me, but please stop calling me a white knight.
