Does gender and sexual orientation really matter to you?

arc
I've fully explored my sexuality and am just not attracted to males. My eyes always first fall to the shape of the person first to tell me, hey, that's a woman. From there I can gouge how attracted I am to her. But for guys, I don't even get to the second step. But hey, if you are attracted to both genders, that's more potential partners. More power to you.

Not that much. I mean I've thought about swingin over the other side of the fence to see what the fuss is about, but it's not such a serious consideration. And, as Arc has said, yeah, that's more potential partners, so the idea of not limiting yourself is kind of cool, too. I have girlish tendencies, but it's mainly because I never bought into the "Man = Cars, Tool boxes, and Beer" portrait. Plus, I find that girls are better friends; and that's a bit because I like the way they look, too xD.

Gender conformities and expectations are bullshit. That being said, I prefer guys who identify as guys and I'm hetero. But gender means nothing to me when it comes to clothing and I wear whatever the hell I want.

To me it's no big deal, just do whatever floats your boat. I'd rather have a friend that followed their heart/passion then try to be something they are not. I want them to feel comfortable around me, cuz most likely I'll feel more comfortable opening up to them too. I don't like to compare or try to make/prove a point, to me trying to be logical/analytical only makes me feel like I'm trying to convince myself more than anything. It's as simple as "I like this or I like that" or "I want to do this or that" I don't have to give an explanation to try to convince others or myself~ that logic just takes me away from me "my inner self/personality/charisma" No matter where I end up, I'll always find the right people if I follow my own heart/destiny PS: sorry for the weird way I describe things ^ ^ do your own thing! have confidence

I consider the gender/sex as biological data. Facts, not more or less. All the conformities and expectations are stereotypes and roles that society created and I couldn’t care less about them. Honestly, I don’t even think about my gender I just live my life and am doing what I do. It doesn’t concern or influences me. People can be themselves without playing a certain role. The sex of a person is not defined by how he/she lives or behaves. Even if they cross-dress the data stays the same. As for sexual orientation - Why should I care about what other people do in their bedrooms or find attractive in a man/woman ? Or which gender they love ? Non of my business. Besides it is also unimportant and doesn’t make any difference to me anyway.

I don't really care. As long as they love me its ok. I am sorta 'gender confused' in a way so although I dress like a girl most often I feel like a boy a lot. But I'm not transgender.

I've never understood "feeling" like something you're not. I only know what it means to feel like a male since genetically I'm a male....Anyways. Yes, gender matters to me on the dating field. If she's a she and is attracted to me, I could care less if she feels like a he even if I'll never understand. Gender roles are a societal thing and what's masculine in one culture may be feminine in the next and visa versa. This whole pc accept everything and reject those who think otherwise (hypocrisy ) generation confuses me...

Depends on what you mean, Friendship, No it doesn't matter to me at all, They can dress however they like, act how they want, it doesn't affect me in the slightest, Now relationship wise it does, As a straight male, I will only go for females(luckily I already have the most wonderful girl in the world). It's fine to act how you want, that's fine as long as you don't hurt anyone,I say go for it, But I see a male as a male and a female, female, The genetic structure and biology is what determines your gender, nothing more in my opinion. Does that mean men and women, should act differently or dress differently? Not particularly. Personally I'd never wear female clothes, But that doesn't mean it's wrong to do so. A person can act however they please if it doesn't hurt anyone, Just don't expect me to treat them any differently and it's cool.
