Not exactly rejection but I remember wooing a Japanese gal in high school. Even took her to a fancy Christmas dinner at the software company I worked for. A week later I figured out that she was not single and had a active boyfriend back home. While it may have worked for her I was very frustrated at the lack of communication. Needless to say I never approached her again as more than a fellow student.

It was valentines day. I was in high school. There was someone selling flowers, roses in particular. I decided to give one to my crush, since the bunch of roses wasnt within price range and i figured a single rose would have more meaning to it. She didnt reply after the person delivered it, a teacher came to me holding the rose i sent her and apologized for her.
