Anyone watching Mekaku city Actors right now?

I just want to know who's watching it and chat about it. You know, theories and such. Its based on a series of vocaloid sung music videos created by Jin. Here's a short-ish summary for those who haven't watched/read it: It starts out with an 18 year old Shintaro Kisaragi, being an shut in for two years and hasn't left his room since, being entranced into the internet and his computer. However, On August 14th...everything started to happen. A cyber girl named Ene appears on his computer and causes him to break it. But since that day was a day of a festival, he had no choice to go out and buy himself a new one. Shintaro goes to the department store but gets caught in the middle of a terrorist attack and is one of the captives. Meanwhile a group of kids called the Mekakushi Dan/blindfold gang stop the attack with their special abilities and force him to become apart of the gang. The best thing about this is that all of the characters are connected in a way and have met each other. But their individual stories bring on the feels. Lets chat~ <3

I am watching it. It's nice to find someone who want to chat about it because it's normally just my friend and me who chat about it together on facebook and i would like to know others views on it.

The episode were pretty slow at first like episode 2 but it started to peak my interest by the next episode.I heard some didn't like the style of the character,but i thought it was fine. The show may have fillers especially episode 5 but i liked them (like Kano and Ene's battle that was super hilarious) .I was pretty shocked at episode 7,i was not expecting any of that to come from Kano. I know there is going to be some feels for the next episode Lost Time Memory,i will be prepared. >.> also i feel that some of the episodes feel so short sometime.

Before it actually aired, I listened to all the songs and put them in order in such and felt the feels in the songs. I was so excited to see it air, and when it did I just knew I felt the slight feels. The way they all acted, from Kido just smacking Kano around to Kano and Ene's battle, was all pretty good. Fillers can be bad, but I think in this case it just tells more aspects of their lives to show how theyre all connected. Episode 7 made me almost yell at my computer screen. I had no clue he was going to just do that. Then again Just going into Ene's memories about before she turned digital makes me wonder about a lot. Like when Takane passed out, who was actually there with her. Or when Haruka was in the hospital, what was Tateyama doing when one of his eyes started glowing...?

I can always remember Lost Time Memory and Outer Science i guess of the very sad routes and they make me cry the most. I think just about everyone into Mekaku yelled at there computer screen on episode 7, my brain just blew and couldn't comprehend what just had happen. So far my friend and me thought the anime would answer our questions we had from the songs but it still keeps giving us more question that need to be answered. Well when Takane passed out it did looked like Ayano's father was there and he does posses an eye power, so i believe he may have known what would happen to Takane but that is just a theory of mine. I have no clue what Kenjirou's eye power does since it wasn't specified, all i know he has the ability to make eyes clear which isn't specific enough to tell us what it does.

I thought the same thing. The anime just pulls at my emotions by ending each episode with a cliffhanger and leaving holes in the story. And it just makes me want to flip my computer all the time! And looking up other people's theories don't help much. I agree with what you're saying about Kenjirou. I think since he knew that Takane and Haruka were pretty sickly. And when Haruka passed out, I think he also knew Takane would kinda overexert herself, and take that opportunity to learn more about it. Probably by then his slight but hidden obsession about the haze has made him lost it....Well..I think...?

I got a chance to watch episode 8 and i wasn't to thrilled with it. I really hope the manga gets updated soon because i'm positive this anime won't answer anything.

HAHA cool, a mekakucity actors thread. I think i have to read the manga though. it seems like there's so much more than what the anime has been showing and even then it's still leaving many questions unanswered xD
