Big movie and anime lover. I love all kinds of music and musicals too, for example one of my favorites is Little Shop of Horrors! I’m a huge Vocaloid lover too, mainly for Hatsune Miku! I’ve been to all of her Miku Expo shows in NYC and even saw her live at the taping of her appearance on David Letterman.
Speaking of NYC, I love the city and go to New York Comic Con ever year for my birthday! It’s the main con I go to every year but I’m trying to start a tradition going to AnimeNYC every year too.
I can’t list all of my favorite animes but I love both the oldies up to some current animes. I’m trying to keep up with the new releases like SpyXFamily and Oshi no Ko. I used to be a huge manga collector but I sadly sold some of my old collections. My biggest series collection I currently have is Higurashi, I think I’m only missing a book or two of the most very recent prints but besides that it’s complete.
I’m not a huge gamer, but I do looove my Kirby games! I sadly haven’t played a lot of the new ones in the early 2010’s, but I do own the most recent ones from the 3DS and Nintendo switch besides the remaster of one of the Wii games. I also play Animal Crossing too, a nice comfort game ^^ One if my favorite games is Portal 2 and I still enjoy it so much even though I remember most of the puzzles and just simply enjoys speed running it.
For movies, I love all genres, especially animated movies (western or anime), horror, certain comedies and Marvel movies/shows. I’m into general nerd culture too like the MCU and Star Wars. I’m also a fan of the whole Cloverfield arg stuff. It’s what helped me get through college back in 2016 when 10 Cloverfield Lane was announced. I managed to go to the premiere of the movie in nyc and it was so much fun!
I enjoy going out to events if I’m able too. I love the concert atmosphere, big or small. Same with cons, I like both big conventions and small local ones with a big heart.
I hope to meet someone who will go to cons and concerts with me or chill hanging out. Someone who likes to share about their day and interests and go for walks, kind of corny but simple. I hope we can at least be friends :)
