I'm a peep just getting by in Dallas, basically doing decent for myself, nerding hard and geeking hard. When not at work I tend to go out and about, usually in search of a good meal or a good beer, whichever comes first.
I help manage a local food joint in the Lakewood area. If we get it off the ground, it should pay good dividends in the near future. Working in restaurants has pretty much been my career for the most part, so being able to start seeing the fruits of that labor over the last few months has been pretty satisfying. Also, I finally will get over that $20, 000 hump this year, some might consider that not much at all, but in my line of work, that's actually a big deal.
I also tend to go to conventions a bunch, the main two for me are A-Kon and AnimeFEST, with Quakecon or SGC Con rotating depending on how I'm feeling at the time. I also help out my Starfleet group with charity work, usually Extra Life.
