Champion grave tender from ashes of ariendel
snow castle because it sounds like something out of Devil May Cry
Now this doesnt qualify as listening music, but for music to pull you into the game, i would say Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume for Nintendo DS.
Seashore Probe (Battle) from Phantasy Star Online 2.
I'm not sure if anyone has said this already but for me it would definitely be the Kingdom Hearts soundtrack. Yoko Shimomura does an excellent job in portraying the moods in the game when there is a battle the music just brings you into the battle as well. The music has just a sense of magic to it ^^
The 13th Struggle (Gets you in the fighting mood):
Hikari (instrumental version):
From start to finish, FF6 soundtrack is amazing. Personal favorites of mine are the mines of narshe, metamorphosis, Cyans theme, relms theme, and the boss theme.
FFX, Chrono Trigger, and Super Mario RPG, all have great soundtracks!
I'm just gonna say the classic halo games, as nothing beats killing aliens while monks chant in the background :D
Also, Melty Blood: Actress Again has a great soundtrack. It has a mix of basically every genre, yet you can tell it's from that game.
Uhh~ I can't get enough of game sountdracks. So many games has a marvellous soundtrack - so I want to try to draw up a shortlist:
- Tracks by Nobuo Uematsu, Shoji Meguri, Yasunori Mitsuda, Noriyuki Iwadare and Poki
- Transistor OST
- Witcher 3 OST
The 2nd Tallon Overworld theme from Metroid Prime will always be my fav.
Also, Return to Planet X from Timesplitters 2 is amazing.
Asuka 120% BURNING Fest.
