So anything hurts regardless, we deal with it, move on, and find a new relationship with hope.

Well I think thats not well explain when they say move on find a next one
I think it should be move on find yourself and then if you are ready start looking again
There's a lot of people that go from relationship to relationship like nothing

True about finding yourself before relationship but its kinda hard to explain that we just move on if the relationship doesn't work.

I've been in long distance relationships, and they're tough. Tough, tough, tough... But I guess it's all a matter of finding someone who's worth going through all that for, y'know? It takes a very special kind of commitment and trust.

My longest and most meaningful relationship was with someone halfway across the country. I visited her three times in the course of a year, by plane, and even spent the summers with her. It didn't matter what place I was in, town, state or country, because I was with the person I loved. I also had enough money and resources that, if something fell through, I could get home, so it wasn't a problem for me.
We may not have always been there together physically, but we had similar interests, played the same games together, watched movies over Skype calls (some of which were a few days long- and yes, we'd sleep on Skype together sometimes, lmao). We made it work for a long time and I actually enjoyed it.
Would I do the whole experience over again? If I trusted, loved and thought that he/she and I had a future together, then absolutely.

Atreyu, that's really awesome. I'm glad you had something special and you were able to cultivate it over time. I woulnd't mind that but obviously trust is the biggest issue.

My best friend recently got married to her long distance boyfriend for 7 years, on and off. She first physically met the dude like 4 years in. So it's not un-doable, but I think it's a lot of work and it also really depends on the people involved and their particular situation.
